I’d like to extend a big warm welcome to our newest design team member here at Scrappers Haven. Leesa Barry-Cotter and Evelyn Willebrands.
Leesa specializes in using a wide variety of mediums to create her gorgeous cards and Off The Page prjects and is conducting Card making workshops every Friday and a Workshop Rescue once a month. Workshop Rescue is new workshop designed to help people who haven’t yet got the confidence to attempt a particular project, whether that be an off the page piece or card, or even a layout.
Evelyn joins us with her beautiful talents in Card making as well as Scrapbooking. She will be running workshops every fortnight on Wednesdays starting on March 9 and workshops are tailored for beginners through to advanced. Evelyn has some fantastic ideas to turn and ordinary page into something to treasure. Learn some new techniques to create your own layout master pieces. As an extra bonus in Evelyn’s workhsop, don’t throw anything away…she will show you how to make beautiful cards from your left overs…

Scrapbooking Retreat !!
Yes, you’ve heard right….we are having our first Scrapbooking Retreat !! Bookings are ESSENTIAL, so please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to be part of this exciting event.
Date: Fri 21st October – Sun 23rd October 2011
Where: Shearwater Resort Kings Beach Caloundra (right in the heart of Kings beach on the esplanade)
Accomodation : 2 -3 Bedroom units (Queen bed – 2 singles) no bunks.
Meals Included: Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner, Sunday Breakfast-Lunch.
Cost: $365 (Deposit of $50 required to secure booking and remaining can be paid off)

October 2009 Scrappers Workshops
It’s getting close to Halloween and Christmas and that is why you should get into the card making and scrapbooking groove with Sheila, Hetty and Kay.
The Scrappers Haven October 2009 calendar is available for you to view online or download and print and keep handy so you don’t forget the most important dates this month.

Jill has been appointed as Australia’s ONLY Prima verified tutor and she is coming here to Hervey Bay. She has been published over 250 times throughout Australia. She is based in Brisbane and has tutored at Conventions and scrapbooking stores all over the country.
The Workshop will consist of a Prima page layout and a Prima mini book. All products will be supplied and you get to take home a load of leftovers such as ribbons, flowers etc. Classes usually go for approx. 2 hours each. Jill is happy to chat with people afterwards and help them if needed and classes are always very relaxed.
Workshop times are 10am and 1.00pm
Price is $98.00 for the day – BOOKINGS are ESSENTIAL!
Tea and coffee will be provided!
